Surgical Services

Same-day surgery is offered at Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Among the physicians who perform surgical procedures at the hospital are general surgeons, orthopedic specialists, plastic surgeons, gynecologists, ear-nose-throat specialists, urologists, thoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, and gastroenterologists. These specialists, as well as the surgical team’s anesthesiologists, are affiliated with Bassett Healthcare.  Foot surgery and procedures performed by podiatrists are also performed at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.  The hospital’s surgical team also includes a group of highly skilled and experienced OR nurses. Recovery generally takes place right in the surgical suite for same-day surgery, and the emphasis is on preventing complications following surgery and ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
